BIOGRAPHY

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York City, Yvette has always been inspired by the Arts. Growing up in NYC, she went to many free summer concerts over the summer with her family and realized her love for music and fashion. At a young age, she also developed the love for anime which sparked her interest and love for Japan. When it came to her choose of High School, Her top 2 schools was Fashion Institute and Environmental Studies. Unfortunately, she did not get the opportunity to enroll in Fashion Institute but was able to learn Japanese at Environmental Studies. At LaGuardia Community College, she studied Fine Arts where she was able to learn skills and techniques that would improve her art skills tremendously. She graduated with an Associates Degree in Fine Arts and later continuing her education as a transferred student at Queens College. There she was ,not only able to receive her Bachelors Degree in Studio Art but be featured in the senior art gallery.

Yvette' s work is inspired by her love for music, Japanese culture, anime, fashion, beauty and some humor. At Queens College she had the opportunity to try many different forms of Art. From paintings to video editing, Yvette enjoy the opportunity to express herself and to play in many different art forms.
